Grand Haven Lighthouses
Did you know Grand Haven has two lighthouses on its south pier? The inner light is shown in the foreground in the above photo, and the outer light, also known as the entrance light, is in the background. Both are painted red.
The north pier is on the other side of the Grand River channel from the south pier and has its own light, known as a D9 tower and referred to as the North Pierhead Light. It is painted white with a green, horizontal stripe.
