Did you know you can drive to Canada from Michigan? The Ambassador Bridge over the Detroit River is a popular way. The Ambassador Bridge is an international suspension bridge that connects the United States with Canada. Specifically, the city of Detroit, Michigan in the United States is connected to the city of Windsor, Ontario in Canada. The Ambassador Bridge, which charges a toll, is about 1.5 miles long and was opened for traffic in 1929.
