Marquette Harbor Lighthouse

Did you know that Marquette Harbor Lighthouse on Lake Superior in Marquette, Michigan is said to harbor the ghostly spirit of a young girl? It is part of the lighthouse lore.

Marquette Harbor Lighthouse, in Michigan’s Upper Peninsula, has been an important beacon to the port of Marquette and to the Great Lakes iron ore trade for which Marquette was a principal port at one time. It is a large, red building situated on a rock-lined point in the harbor.
