Lowell Showboat
Have you ever seen a showboat? The Lowell Showboat is a stationary boat on the Flat River in Lowell, Michigan. It is located on Riverwalk Plaza off of Main Street in the Downtown Lowell Historic District. The Lowell Showboat is open in the summer for music concerts and in December for visits from Santa. It is also available as a venue for celebrations.

History
The first Lowell Showboat was christened in 1932. The current showboat was christened in October of 2020 and is the sixth Lowell Showboat.

Structure and Appearance
The Lowell Showboat is made of steel and has a grand staircase and a wooden pilot wheel. It is painted white and has a red paddle wheel on the back.
